SIX MONTHS PAID INTERNSHIP 

MARKETING & E-COMMERCE OPERATIONS INTERN

 

A wink to the founder’s name Maya, AYAM is the new go-to shopping destination for matching sets of any kind. We are on a mission to make the lives of our fellow customers easier, and better, one set at a time. We are looking for a superstar intern to directly assist the founder in all day-to-day activities relating to marketing, digital strategy & e-commerce operations. This is an amazing opportunity to get hands on experience in many different areas of a growing e-commerce fashion business. This internship is paid.

Marketing

You will help execute AYAM’s overall marketing & communication strategy. From creating and planning content, coming-up with new marketing ideas, to helping in the organisation of pop-ups, events, and potential press partnerships.

  • Help manage social media activity: creating content, planning, posting, running digital ads, managing facebook shop

  • Keep marketing calendar up-to-date

  • Help designing & sending out weekly newsletters

  • Assist with influencer marketing (gifting)

  • Reach out to fashion editors for PR purposes

  • Come-up with fun, engaging social campaigns/content ideas

  • Assist with pop-ups & events

E-commerce Operations

You will assist in all day-to-day activities relating to AYAM’s website and inventory operations. From fulfilling orders and managing customer service, to updating the website’s visuals and keeping track of the inventory coming in & going out.

  • Assist with day-to-day website maintenance

  • Launch new products online, write product descriptions

  • Assist with photoshoots organization

  • Manage customer service, returns and duties/taxes events

  • Pack/ship orders from London storage

  • Manage London storage: keeping track of inventory & packaging

  • Liaise with brand partners for incoming stock deliveries

Who you are

  • London-based. Available to start June 1st.

  • Very organised, flexible, creative, dynamic & eager to learn

  • Passion for digital marketing & social media (TikTok preferably)

  • Good writing and speaking abilities

  • Shopify/Mailchimp/Photoshop skills are a plus
